Viper Subsea is celebrating double success at the Business Leader Awards 2015 in the Business of the Year and Innovation of the Year categories. The awards were presented at a glittering event held at Cadbury House Hotel, Bristol on the evening of 24th September, hosted by Giles Brandreth and special guest Caprice Bourret.
Speaking about the success, Neil Douglas, Managing Director of Viper Subsea said “We are absolutely delighted to have won these prestigious regional business awards. Viper Subsea is proud of its South West heritage and the part the company plays in building a global reputation for innovation for the region, as well as a reputation for business excellence.
“Our V-LIFE Insulation Resistance Improvement System has, in the short time it has been available, made a considerable contribution to the global offshore oil and gas industry. This product could only have been developed through the commitment and enthusiasm of our R&D team and staff. The Innovation of the Year category is one which I believe recognises those efforts.

The Business Leader Awards will be added to numerous other accolades the company has received in recent years, including; Neil Douglas named as Institute of Directors (IoD) South West Director of the Year 2011; Beacon Status awarded in 2012 in recognition of excellence as a leading supplier of subsea products and services; winner of the New Enterprise Award at the Subsea UK Business Awards 2012; winner of the Technology Innovation of the Year category at the National Private Business Awards 2014; winner of the prestigious Innovation & Technology Award for its V-LIFE product at the Subsea UK Business Awards 2014.
