Emerson Process Management has earned Frost & Sullivan’s 2016 Growth Excellence Leadership Award for its portfolio of best practice technologies and services, which together are transforming how capital projects are executed. Through its Project Certainty initiative, Emerson is helping to deliver some of the most complex capital projects in the process industry on time and within budget.
Project Certainty, coupled with Emerson’s product and services portfolio, were cited by Frost & Sullivan’s independent analysis as reasons why customers are increasingly turning to Emerson to solve complex problems. Customers also report receiving a satisfying ownership and service experience throughout their project’s lifecycle.
“Growth Excellence Leadership is truly about the customer, and making those customers successful is the cornerstone of any long-term growth strategy,” said Frost & Sullivan research analyst Piyush Dewangan. “Emerson Process Management is amongst the most respected names in process automation, trusted for delivering best-in-class solutions and services that have led to an above-market growth rate year over year, despite the global economic slowdown.”
Frost & Sullivan recognized Emerson’s DeltaV™ distributed control system (DCS) with CHARMs technology, a key element of Project Certainty, for giving Emerson and its customers a distinct advantage in industry-wide efforts to reduce project costs and complexities. Using Emerson’s DeltaV with CHARMs technology, project teams can implement late-project changes without adding extra costs or impacting the start-up schedule and organizations can save millions by eliminating wiring costs and freeing control room space.
“We are pleased to be recognized by Frost & Sullivan for our efforts to help our customers successfully deliver on capital projects,” said Jim Nyquist, president of Emerson’s PlantWeb Solutions. “We have heard our customers’ concerns about budget and schedule overruns on projects, and the risks and losses experienced on capital projects. We launched Project Certainty for that reason, to put organizations on the path to top quartile project performance.”
