A Session of Talks between Minister of Petroleum & Norwegian Ambassador

Eng. Tarek El Molla , Minister of Petroleum and Mineral resources , held a session of talks with the Norwegian Ambassador to Egypt, Sten Arne Rosnes accompanied by a delegation representing Intsok Corporation, which includes major Norwegian oil and gas companies, currently visiting Cairo to identify the available investment opportunities in Egypt’s petroleum industry.

On the sideline of the visit, the Intsok delegation will have a series of field visits to a number of oil companies such as Enppi, Petrobel, Rashid, Gupco, Pharaonic Petroleum Co., Ganope, Badr Eldin Petroleum Co., and EGPC during their visit to Egypt in order to identify the potential of these companies as well as the available investment opportunities .

The Norwegian Ambassador clarified that Intsok, plays an important role in the oil and gas industry was co-founded in 1997 between the private sector and the Norwegian government. The Corp. targets expanding its investments in the Egyptian market, which is considered a promising market.
