Mr. Jabbar Ali Hussein Al-Luiebi the minister of oil declared the re-construction & rehabilitation of the Kask refinery in Ninawa governorate with capacity of (10) thousand barrels/ day.
This new national accomplishment is a part of the achievements to rehabilitate the oil facilities in the liberated zones.
Mr. Al-Luiebi said that the national staff of the north refineries company have finished the re-construction & re-starting of Al-Kask refinery. And the work is continuous to finish the second unit “which was sabotaged and out of service & production” with capacity of (10) thousand barrels.
Mr. Al-Luiebi said also that this accomplishment is considered as a special one in the refining sector and a bright image representing the devotion of the oil staff to face the challenges strongly, especially after the sabotage which the terrorist gangs did to the refineries, facilities, reservoirs, depots, pipelines and oil stations in the liberated governorates. He said also that the “brave national staff” have rehabilitated and restarted the refinery in a record time in-spite of the financial & security challenges according to the urgent programs and the limited capabilities, in order to provide a part of the oil products in the liberated governorates.
Mr. Al-Luiebi referred to the new accomplishments which was made by the brave oil staff from the north oil company and the supporting authorities according to the plans in a record time and by depending on the limited capabilities to re-build the refineries, facilities, pipelines, reservoirs and the sabotaged oil tankers in the governorates of Ninawa, Salahuddeen, Kirkuk and Anbar.
