As reported by public relations of Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), phase 14’s director, Mohammad Mehdi Tavasolipour, said extensive acidizing operations were successfully carried out on 11 wells of block B in order to achieve the highest production capacity.
Referring to drilling operations of wells in two stages, Tavasolipour said 9 wells of the mentioned block were initially completed on March 2019.
As the country needed gas production, platform 14B was installed and became operational on January 2020. Then the drilling and acidizing of remaining wells continued at the same time the platform 14B was under implementation.
Consequently, all 4 offshore platforms of phase 14 have thoroughly ended and are currently operational with the production capacity of 2 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day.
