The President of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the National Petroleum Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANPG), Paulino Jerónimo, flanked by the Executive Directors, Natacha Massano and Belarmino Chitangueleca, received in audience the Vice President of Total for Exploration, Arnaud Breuillac , this morning, Friday, the 13th.
The French executive is in Angola in compliance with a work agenda that includes a visit to the National Concessionaire. At the meeting, the two entities reviewed the ongoing issues in the different concessions operated by Total, as are the cases of Block 17, whose production license was recently extended, and Block 20/21. The importance of advancing the development of these concessions was highlighted, given their significant impact on the objectives of ANPG and the Angolan Executive, within the framework of synergies to reduce the decline in production.
Arnaud Breuillac stressed the intention to continue investing in Angola, focusing on the development of the Oil & Gas sector, to leverage the French operator's investment in renewable energies, having underlined the importance of fiscal and contractual stability as a factor of attracting investors to Angola .
