Iraq Minister of Oil Receives Canadian Ambassador to Baghdad

The Minister of Oil, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail, has received the Ambassador of Canada to Iraq, Gregory Galligan. During the meeting, they discussed frameworks for strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

The Minister has affirmed the keenness of the ministry to develop the oil industry and optimize gas investment by implementing investment projects in cooperation with specialized international companies.

For his part, the Canadian ambassador expressed the willingness of his country to enhance prospects for joint cooperation with Iraq in various fields, including the oil, gas and energy sectors.
