Solas Energy is proud to announce that the firm is now providing Owner’s Engineering Services (OES) and other related support to Swift Current Energy’s growing portfolio of solar and wind energy projects. This includes the 790 MW Double Black Diamond Solar project in Illinois and the 197 MW Castle Gap Wind project in Texas.

“At Solas Energy, we make large renewable energy projects happen; when they do, families, local communities and entire regions benefit. We are pleased to join forces with Swift Current Energy to do exactly that for nearly one gigawatt of new renewable energy projects. We are thrilled to support these critical infrastructure investments, which will provide communities in Illinois, as well as Texas, with access to American-made clean energy,” said Evelyn Carpenter, President and CEO of Solas Energy – US.

Phillip Westerby, Chief of Project Execution at Swift Current Energy added, “As the developer and the long-term owner of our renewable energy projects, Swift Current Energy appreciates the wealth of experience and expertise Solas Energy contributes to our projects. Solas Energy shares our goal of creating renewable energy projects to create a sustainable future. We appreciate that Solas Energy also shares our focus on ensuring our projects come online safely, on time, and within budget.”

We are delighted to help communities transition to a clean energy future by supporting projects like these that will have a measurable impact on reducing carbon emissions.”
