The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has carried out an audit of technical safety, the working environment, fire insulation, the handling of corrosion under insulation (CUI) and the collection of environmental data on Johan Sverdrup. The audit was conducted from 15 November 2022 to 12 January 2023.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to investigate how Equinor meets the requirements for technical safety, the working environment, fire insulation, the handling of corrosion under insulation (CUI), and the collection of environmental data.
Result
No non-conformities were identified.
Five improvement points were identified, relating to:
Chemical working environment
Noise
Flange tag information requirements
Collection of environmental data
Temporary insulation
What happens next?
We have asked Equinor for their assessment of the improvement points identified. The reply deadline is set at 28 February 2023.
