In response to today's announcement of the fuel prices from February 2023 to April 2023 (prices of crude oil, LNG, and coal according to trade statistics), the fuel cost adjustment unit prices and the fuel cost, etc. adjustment unit prices included in the electricity rates for July 2023 have been determined as follows.

Furthermore, revisions to the specified retail supply agreement terms and conditions (regulated rates) and electricity supply/demand agreement terms and conditions [low-voltage] (free rates) for low-voltage supply customers, will take effect on June 1 and July 1, respectively. In conjunction with these changes, the calculation data for fuel cost adjustments has also been revised in accordance with changes to the energy mix and fuel prices. For further details, please refer to the page on our website dedicated to this topic (in Japanese only).

1. For low-voltage supply customers: Fuel cost adjustment unit prices (including tax)
July 2023 rates for contracts to which electricity supply/demand agreement terms and conditions [low voltage] (free rates) apply will be prorated based on the old fuel cost adjustment unit prices (electricity supply/demand agreement terms and conditions [low-voltage] revised on April 1, 2023) for consumption on or before June 30, and the new fuel cost adjustment unit prices (electricity supply/demand agreement terms and conditions [low voltage] revised on July 1, 2023) for consumption on and after July 1.

Please note that fuel adjustment unit prices for contacts to which specified retail supply agreement terms and conditions (regulated rates) apply will be calculated based on the specified retail supply agreement terms and conditions revised on June 1, 2023.

2. For high-voltage/extra high-voltage supply customers: Fuel cost, etc. adjustment unit prices and fuel cost adjustment unit prices (including tax)

The fuel cost, etc. adjustment unit prices took effect on April 1, 2023 for customers whose contracts expired during the period from December 31, 2022 to March 31, 2023.

In addition, these prices will apply to the subsequent contract period for customers whose contracts expire on or after April 1, 2023.
