Dyna-Mac Holdings Ltd. (“Dyna-Mac” or the “Group” and together with its subsidiaries the “Group”) is pleased to announce that the Company has taken the initiative as part of its corporate social responsibility to rally its staff and corporate partners to launch a fund-raising campaign to support the Singapore Christian Home (SCH).

A not-for-profit nursing home, the Singapore Christian Home was selected as it primarily serves residents from all religious background and is currently the only home in Singapore that admits children and young adults.

The nursing home has been providing medical and nursing care to the destitute and people from very low-income families for the past 63 years. Since 2017, SCH expanded to other services, including admitting children and young persons with complex health issues and elderlies who require dialysis services.

Utilizing various donation channels including a dedicated Dyna-Mac Giving.sg online fundraising campaign that started from 1st April 2023 to 30th June 2023, a total of $122,000 was raised by Dyna-Mac staff and its corporate partners. This amount will help the nursing home during these challenging times so that they can continue with their mission to provide residential, respite nursing and medical care for the destitute, the vulnerable and persons from financially challenged families.

Further to supporting the nursing home's core mission of providing medical and nursing care to those in need, the funds also help the nursing home to carry out necessary capital improvement projects to improve the living environment of the residents.

Community Care and Resident Engagement
On 3rd July 2023, Dyna-Mac’s directors, senior management and staff together with representatives from the Association of Singapore Marine Industries (ASMI) also organized and participated in a resident engagement event at the Singapore Christian Home where the residents were treated to an afternoon of Bingo games and tea-time treats. In addition, Dyna-Mac staff also prepared and distributed care packs to all residents. These nostalgia themed care packs, comprising traditional snacks, games and the 60’s Singapore postcards, aimed to help residents recollect memories and improve their sense of wellbeing. Through the event, the Dyna-Mac team came away enriched with a greater sense of relatedness to others.

Dyna-Mac, as part of our corporate social responsibility, is committed to contributing to the well-being of our society as a cornerstone of our business strategy.
