Iraq Minister of Oil Receives the Turkish Ambassador in Baghdad

Today, Thursday, 1/11/2024, the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Mr. Hayan Abdul Ghani, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Iraq, Mr. Ali Riza Konay, in the Ministry building in Baghdad. During the meeting, the overall bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed, especially in the oil and energy sector.

The Minister stressed the keenness of the government and the ministry to strengthen and develop relations with neighboring countries and friendly countries, by increasing the area of cooperation in implementing investment opportunities and projects to develop the oil and energy sector in Iraq.
