Iran Ready to Increase Swap at Caspian

Managing director of the Iranian Oil Terminals Company (IOTC), Pirouz Mousavi said to increase the oil swap from north oil terminal necessary steps has been taken and all desired infrastructures have been provided.

Mousavi also said that IOTC is getting prepared for more swaps in line with Petroleum Ministry and the National Iranian Oil Company’s Policies for oil swap increase.

He also expressed his satisfaction from the current progress of the new shipyard basin construction but stated this important and strategic project needs to be completed quickly.

IOTC’s MD mentioned the sovereign rule of the company and considered the Jask project a priority for IOTC and explained that Jask-Neka pipeline project starts from north oil terminal and therefore facilitating this terminal has been prioritized.
