The boost demand for high-end quality cables is changing the international perception of cables manufacturers worldwide as well as in the Middle East. Such a growth is bringing both challenges and opportunities for those operating in the cabling industry said Hashem Al Huneidi- CEO of MESC.

We identify the need to serve the region’s exploding growth economies by exploring all possible methods from developing new product technologies to partnerships with other cables manufacturers. We are committed to provide our customers with cost effective and high-end quality product within a span time that no other cable manufacture can offer.

The provisions boom that is heating up the energy sector is proving that the Middle East is taking the lion’s share of the global energy investment, not only because it is the heart of the world hydrocarbon production, but also because of the vast number of development projects taking place simultaneously across the region which is just one of the challenges facing the cable industry worldwide. Yet, the other challenges are the increase in the prices of the raw material and the finished cables quality which are considered as troubling factors facing most of the cables manufacturers, he added.

For this reason, we have invested in new technologies for a combination of various products and services, thereby understanding the need for more testing facilities for cables different than those used in traditional cable technology. It is more than just a product problem; it a serious health and safety issues.

Middle East Specialized Cables (MESC) has developed special testing facilities for Fame Retardant and Smoke Propagation/ Light transmission tests, Fire Resistance, and Acid Gas Emission within its premises. This is an addition to the existing full fledged routine and acceptance test facilities in line with international standard specifications. Such a facility will enable Middle East Specialized Cables (MESC) to further strengthen its quality control measures related to the raw material suppliers as well as in house verification of compliance of finished cables to special tests.

Our continuous endeavor to maintain our excellent reputation is the principal core values behind our success, he concluded.
