In November 2022 we published our Decision on the initial findings of our Electricity Transmission Network Planning Review, which set out our decision that the Future System Operator (FSO) should deliver a new electricity transmission network planning output called a Centralised Strategic Network Plan (CSNP).

This consultation sets out our proposals for the first stage of the CSNP regulatory framework development which is how we expect the FSO to model future supply and demand (currently the Future Energy Scenarios (FES)) that will inform future network investment need in the CSNP.
